New York Resilience System

Hurricane Sandy was a massive storm that has caused extensive flooding, power and transportation outages, multiple fatalities, and at least $50 billion in physical damage in NY and much of the US East coast.

In direct response to the storm, the New York Resilience System has been launched to serve as the clearinghouse for information on disaster relief, recovery and reconstruction efforts from Hurricane Sandy.

The NYRS will also serve as a place to discuss the goal of improving the health, well-being, and prosperity of New York citizens and their communities by fostering a resilient response to change both now and in the future.

To participate, please register here.
